@adders I used Movable Type for a few years in the 2000s — I’d forgotten about it rendering static pages. Sadly, I was one of those who jumped ship to WordPress when MT went commercial. 🤷
@numericcitizen I’ve got several Lightning to USB cables of varying type and length, just so I’m covered for any eventually of my 2022 iPhone SE needing to be connected to my MacBook or charged. 🤞🏼
@Miraz I ended up throwing out my old school photos — not only did I barely remember who most of the others in the photos were, but it brought back a lot of bittersweet memories for me. 🙁 (Although I didn’t know it at the time, and it wasn’t diagnosed until very recently, my autistic traits marked me out as a target for bullying and/or avoidance by others…)
@gregmorris Not sure what happened to the URL, but here’s the one you probably meant.
@BasicAppleGuy I can confirm that the box my MacBook Air came in was VERY hard to flatten — both toughened cardboard and super-strong glue binding. 😅 💪🏼 📦 So I can easily imagine the one you saw lasting a LONG time!
@KimberlyHirsh I feel seen, figuratively speaking.
@maique Huh, they didn’t email me 🙁 I guess that’s because I deleted my account when I left? (For what it’s worth, I liked Todoist & it was the to-do app that helped me get myself organised at last, but eventually I was organised enough that I could do it with Reminders instead…)
@Miraz I facepalmed when I heard the news about the UK Supreme Court’s decision. 🤦 Sadly, this will be another cudgel wielded against transgender folx, no matter what the Justices may wish.
@toddgrotenhuis Ugh, I despise that overlay — do people who are (still) using Substack for their writing realise how annoying it is?
