@Miraz Added to my Wish List… but that cover… as a former graphic designer, that mish-mash of typefaces is giving me severe eye-twitch! >.<

@devilgate I’ve not had one of those in a long time, and it’s probably just as well; I suspect the sugar content in one of those would hit me hard.

@adders Still waiting for daffodils to open up here, but a few snowdrops and crocuses have popped up here and there.

@BenSouthwood I’m not so bad now, but then I’ve moved browsers several times of the past few years, and sorting the resulting mess out usually sheds a lot of detritus. 🙂

@numericcitizen Interesting, been a few years since I last looked at Inoreader. I’m using NewsBlur currently as that’s a better fit for my needs and budget, but I’m glad to hear that Inoreader is doing well.

@adders We see our neighbours in their respective gardens from time to time… but never doing any gardening. Needless to say, barren spaces occasionally interrupted by junk. 🙁

@adamprocter Totally agree, and not just on technical & ownership grounds — with the way things are moving in the USA, I fear there’s a very real risk of stuff failing because connection is refused to those who don’t or won’t fall in line.

@numericcitizen No, you’re not alone. And it’s not just blogs hosted on WordPress.com — self-hosted WordPress blogs that use JetPack integration are similarly afflicted if the site owner allows it. 🙁 Those WordPress sites that allow the old way of just a name and email address are rare beasts indeed nowadays.

@jsonbecker Hehe, yep the MacBook Air is quite the mini-powerhouse. 🙂 I didn’t use Migration Assistant either, I wanted a clean-ish start from the old iMac, so used iCloud Drive plus AirDrop to synch data and settings across as needed.

@jsonbecker You’re probably doing better than most. 👍 Here in the UK, I’ll be gathering together documents for my 2024-25 tax return around May, and this year I’m going to try and actually complete it by the summer so it’s out of the way. 🤞🏼
