Had a frankly bizarre experience setting up a banking app on my new phone (refurb 2022 iPhone SE) yesterday. It offered to scan a QR code from my old phone, then steadfastly refused to recognise said QR code.

Thankfully, there was an alternative method which eventually worked, but argh! 💢
